Bowers Harrison Attorney to Participate in Bar Association Leadership Class

The Indiana State Bar Association selected Bowers Harrison attorney Sarah B. Fandrey to participate in the 2015 class of its Leadership Development Academy. Sarah is one of only 25 attorneys selected to participate in this statewide leadership program. The program was established to empower and develop lawyers to be informed, committed and involved, so that they may fill significant leadership roles in bar associations, local communities and organizations.

The 25 participants are accomplished legal practitioners who have been admitted to practice for less than 15 years. The program includes five sessions featuring professional facilitators and prominent speakers from various disciplines to inform participants about leadership principles and techniques, the importance of effective leaders in organizations to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, and the challenges and rewards of leadership in action.

Sarah is a 2013 graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law. Her practice focuses on commercial and residential real estate transactions. She provides a full range of real estate and title services covering acquisition, disposition, development, leasing and financing of real estate, as well as business counsel and contracting services. Prior to law school, Sarah earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology at the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2006 and a Master of Social Work Degree concentrating in Community and Economic Development at the University of Missouri–St. Louis in 2009.

Bowers Harrison Executive Committee member David E. Gray states “Sarah is a natural born leader and thus a perfect choice for the Leadership Development Academy. We are very proud of her and pledge to provide whatever support she may require in this endeavor.”
