2004: “Voices for I-69” evolves into “Hoosier Voices for I-69,” an independent nonprofit organization managed by the Chamber (originally formed as the Southwestern Indiana Regional Highway Coalition in 1991)
2005: More than 115 business participate in first Chamber-hosted Tri-State Business EXPO
2006: Chamber hosts first “Candidate School” program
2006: Delegates from Southwest Indiana travel to Lexington, KY to explore community best practices as part of first Chamber-hosted Inter-City Leadership Visit
2006: Evansville Named “Community of the Year” by Indiana Chamber of Commerce after Chamber leads nomination efforts
2006: Tri-State World Trade Council, an independent nonprofit organization comprised of area universities and businesses, announces formal affiliation with the Chamber
2006: After several years of negotiation, the Posey County Chamber of Commerce and the Metropolitan Evansville Chamber of Commerce formally unite to form The Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana
2010: Young Evansville Professionals (an independent nonprofit organization) comes under The Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana umbrella, becoming known as Young Professionals Network (known today as Young Professionals Alliance)
2012: First segment of I-69 in Southwest Indiana opens for business, connecting Evansville to Crane
2013: Chamber partners with Henderson-Henderson County Chamber of Commerce (now known as Kyndle) to launch BridgeLink, a nonprofit organization focused on advocating for construction of a new I-69 Ohio River bridge
